Avery Gallery Art Exhibit: Nature, Animals, Environment
Three well-known Central Coast artists will fill the City of Seaside Avery Gallery with our newest exhibit “Nature, Animals, and Environmental; images from the Central Coast” which begins July 2, 2018 and will be on display until September 6, 2018.
Sunday Blues in the Park
The City of Seaside will be hosting its 31st Blues in the Park Concert Series. The concerts will take place on July 8, 15, 22, 29 and August 5 at Laguna Grande Park in Seaside. This event is FREE and offers live entertainment, food for sale and craft vendors.
This year’s headliners are: Debbie Davis, Ms. Taylor P. Collins, BeauFunk feat. Michael Jeffries, Laurie Morvan Band and Trudy Lynn.

171016 West Broadway Street Update - Road Closures
West Broadway Avenue at Alhambra Street will temporarily close on October 17th from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Detour signs will be posted to temporarily reroute west-bound Broadway traffic to Clementina Street or the alley just north of Broadway Avenue. Traffic will return to the usual construction pattern on the morning of October 18th.

Seaside PD Officers Carry Medication to Reverse Opiate Overdose
With Opioid related drug abuse and deaths continuing to rise locally and across the country, the Seaside Police Department is pleased to announce officers will now carry Narcan. Narcan, which is a brand name for Naloxone, is administered as a nasal spray or injection. Seaside Police Officers have been approved by the Monterey County Emergency Medical Services Agency to carry and administer Narcan in the form of a nasal spray. Narcan can reverse the effects of an overdose from opiates such as heroin, fentanyl, Vicodin or OxyContin within minutes.
