Where to Get a Vaccine

VACCINE AVAILABILITY ON THE MONTEREY PENINSULA

*As vaccine locations are established, we will be updating this site to keep you current on where/when/how to register and obtain the vaccine.

Based on State guidance and local considerations, at this time the following Monterey County residents are eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccine:

  • Health care workers
  • Residents age 75 years and older

Beginning February 17, 2021, the following Monterey County residents are eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccine:

  • Health care workers (continued)
  • Residents age 75 years and older (continued)
  • Residents 65 to 74 years of age who are at risk of exposure while working in food and agriculture, childcare and education, and emergency services
  • Residents 65 to 74 years of age who live in one of the following ZIP code:
    • North County: 95012, 95039, 95076
    • Peninsula & Big Sur: 93933, 93955
    • Salinas: 93901, 93905, 93906
    • South County: 93926, 92927, 93930, 93960

Vaccine supplies are extremely limited. Not everyone eligible for vaccination may be able to schedule an appointment until supplies increase.

CVS PHARMACY

CVS Pharmacy has announced that people currently eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine can schedule an appointment for vaccinations starting on Friday (2.12.21).  The exact locations of the participating pharmacies in Monterey, Carmel, and Salinas have not been disclosed yet, the location will be available when scheduling an appointment. Pharmacy locations are not announced in advance due to the uncertainty of available doses.

MONTAGE HEALTH

Montage Health is offering appointments for vaccine clinics for people 75 and older and for healthcare workers (Phase 1a, tiers 1, 2, and 3). You must show proof of age or healthcare employment. Vaccine will be provided by appointment only and this is only for people getting the first dose.
