    The Traffic Advisory Committee (TAC) reviews all requests for traffic safety regulatory or control devices, signs, and markings. The TAC acts as an advisory board to the City Council per Chapter 2.37 of the Municipal Code. Recommendations made by the TAC are to be ratified by the City Council prior to implementation.

  4. Planning Commission Regular Meeting

    The City of Seaside and Wells Fargo are partnering together to provide the community with FREE Financial Literacy Classes! January 7 - 8 Rules of Thumb to Financial Help February 4 - Budgeting and Savings March 30 - Paying for College (at Parent University) April 1 - Let's Talk Credit May 6 - Retirement June 3 - Identity Theft Education Register online ( or in person (at the Oldemeyer Center, Monday-Friday 8:30-5 PM).     The City of Seaside, in collaboration with the Seaside Youth Resource Center and Community Human Services, is hosting the Third Annual Parent University on March 30, 2019 from 9 AM-3 PM at the Oldemeyer Center, 986 Hilby Avenue. This year’s theme is “Parenting Unplugged: Youth and Technology, Facing the Future Together.” Our keynote speaker is Assemblymember Mark Stone. Topics for the conference will include Internet Safety, Violence & Gaming, Human Trafficking, Influences of Violent Media, Selfies & Self Esteem, Dark Web & Drugs, Self-Care, Cyberbullying, Media and Technology Guideline for Parents and Positive Discipline – In the Age of Technology. In addition, Wells Fargo will be hosting a session on ‘Paying for College.’ Free childcare is offered for the first 50 registrants, for children age 3-11. Must be potty taught.
