Fireworks Safety
Safe and Sane Fireworks
Only Safe and Sane fireworks are allowed in our City this Fourth of July. Starting June 28th, Safe and Sane fireworks can be purchased from authorized vendors in Seaside.
If you use or possess illegal fireworks in the City of Seaside, you will be fined $1,000.
The Seaside Fire Department will deploy DRONES to monitor places open to the public for fire safety hazards and gather data which is expected to result in video evidence of illegal firework possession and use. These drones will be used for enforcement.
REMEMBER:
🚫 If it shoots up into the sky and explodes, it’s illegal.
🚫 If it makes a loud, explosive sound, it’s illegal.
🚫 If it doesn’t have the “Safe and Sane” seal from the California State Fire Marshal, it’s illegal.
