In July of 2017 The City received a $150,000 thousand dollar grant from the National Recreation & Parks Association, and the American Water Charitable Foundation. The grant funds will be used to build a Eco-Recreation Station, that will feature a nature based play area and an outdoor classroom. There main focus of this area will be teaching our community about water stewardship, and water ecology while embracing nature based play. The project is projected to be completed by June of 2018.
